PETROL

PETROL

Petrol (also known as gasoline) is a highly flammable liquid fuel derived from petroleum, primarily used in internal combustion engines for vehicles, machinery, and small engines. It is refined from crude oil through a distillation process, followed by blending with additives to improve performance and reduce engine knocking. Petrol is the most commonly used fuel for passenger cars and motorcycles due to its high energy density and ease of use. It is known for its ability to ignite easily and produce a high amount of power for engines, but it also emits carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrogen oxides (NOₓ), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) when burned, contributing to air pollution and climate change.
