KEROSENE
Kerosene oil is a flammable liquid fuel derived from petroleum, commonly used for heating, cooking, and as jet fuel. It is refined from crude oil through a distillation process and then treated to ensure purity and quality. Kerosene oil is favored for its ability to burn cleanly, producing high heat with minimal smoke and residue. It is widely used in households for stoves and heaters, and in aviation as a fuel for jet engines due to its high energy content and efficiency. However, like other petroleum-based fuels, kerosene emits carbon dioxide (CO₂) and other pollutants when burned, which contributes to environmental concerns such as air pollution and climate change.
